Enterprise Security Engineer

As the Enterprise Security Engineer, you will design of enterprise-wide security controls and policies to protect against cyber threats in a hybrid and multi-cloud environment. You will Provide security leadership, review, consultation and deliver hardened baselines for all IT tools, solutions, projects, software etc. This includes but is not limited to delivering controls and configurations for the following: Patching solution and its individual modules, Cyber Defense Tools, Email fraud protections, Browser security, and Data Loss Prevention solutions. You will collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that security controls are implemented effectively on all IT projects including but not limited to patching solutions, endpoint management, and browser security. You will provide secure configurations for cyber defense and security tools and software, including EDR and email protection. You will evaluate risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities. You will review security audits, assessments, and tests to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls. You will provide support and reporting for compliance to security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS. You will develop and maintain documentation on security policies, standards, and procedures. You will also assess configuration management tools to ensure proper configuration of systems and applications. 

If This Describes You, Apply Today!  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• More than 5 years of experience in information and cyber security 
• Experience with creating secure baseline configurations and configuration management tool configurations 
• Experience with patch management and patch management solutions 
• Experience in Microsoft environments 
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS and decomposing them to granular security requirements and configurations 
  

Great Additional Skills: 

• Ability to work unsupervised 
• Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise, and create solutions 
• Ability to respond positively to feedback, and implement change in process and procedures as needed 
• Familiarity with Tanium 
• Familiarity with browser and API security management 
• Familiarity with Proofpoint 
• Experience with Python, Powershell or related utility languages 
• Familiarity with database security is a plus 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
