As the Tier I Service Desk Consultant, you will handle the normal influx of support requests. You will route cases. You will also document procedures for handling different types of cases. Additionally, you will:

  • Interface with vendors with respect to user issues
  • Handle cases
  • Maintain app support for confluence pages
  • Perform upgrades and migrations
  • Handle change requests for updates to staging or production

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, and Virtual Desktop Experience
  • Experience with configuration (new issue types, custom fields, and permissions)
  • Script to support experience (JIRA-to-Confluence updates and Jelly script for case creation)
  • User/group administration experience
  • Experience using a ticketing system such as JIRA or Remedy
  • Experience supporting users remotely over the phone and using remote control tools

Great Additional Skills:

  • Basic Window Server administration skills
  • Some exposure to UNIX/Linux command line
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
