As the Microsoft Office 365 Administrator, you will collaborate in a team environment to maintain and improve the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem. You will manage the Office 365 tenants and products, troubleshoot issues, develop automated processes, and monitor the environment. You will also work with the Office 365 team to collaborate on solutions and integrations. Additionally, you will:

  • Oversee the administration of multiple Office 365 tenants (monitoring, configuring, administering, troubleshooting)
  • Document all changes to system settings and configurations
  • Research, recommend, and implement new technologies and/or product enhancements
  • Provide guidance and roadmap recommendations
  • Serve on-call on a rotating schedule
  • Define and deliver governance for all Microsoft 365 applications and Azure Active Directory
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of Microsoft 365 processes and procedures
  • Follow change, problem, and incident management processes
  • Monitor health of environment against key usage metrics
  • Provide helpdesk support to teams
  • Provide monthly metrics on platform usage and key measurements
  • Assist with the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technology position
  • At least 2 years of experience in Office 365 administration including configuration
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft 365 administration and support
  • Experience with Azure AD, Exchange, and SharePoint administration
  • Familiarity with security-based principals (Zero Trust, Risk-Based Access, Least Privilege)
  • Experience with configuration and management of Azure AD security principals (Federation, PIM, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, MDM, MAM)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 DLP configuration and management
  • Experience with license management and configuration
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 user, groups (AD/Unified), and license management
  • Experience with browser management (Edge, Chrome)
  • Experience with enterprise search principals (Unified Search)
  • Experience with enterprise federation/B2B and account/security principals
  • Experience with Azure AD API/Endpoint configuration for enterprise application integrations and graph functionality
  • Experience with Office add-on deployment and configuration
  • Experience with AIP/RMS encryption
  • Experience with the configuration and management of enterprise retention process/principals for Office 365
  • Experience with the configuration and management of legal hold processes/principles for Microsoft 365
  • PowerShell scripting skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory services and Microsoft 365 integrations
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office productivity applications and other Microsoft tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot a computer and MS Office applications
  • ServiceNow experience
  • Experience administering MDM solutions
  • Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing)
  • Experience managing various browsers and Java deployment
  • Experience using Teams Rooms and Teams Meeting Device Solutions
  • Hands-on technical administration experience with multiple of the following: Office 365, Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid)/Outlook, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure AD Connect
  • Experience with Active Directory concepts and principals (trusts, authentication, authentication routing, sites and services)
  • Experience with O365 deployments and integrations
  • Experience with O365 tenant migrations
  • Ability to accomplish tasks both independently and collaboratively with other team members across multiple groups
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues connecting to multiple SaaS-based services in a complex environment
  • Ability to adjust on time sensitive tasks and lead outage calls
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills (PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to make logical and evidence-based decisions in a diverse environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a highly changing environment.
  • Intermediate to high level knowledge of Windows administration
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with many deadlines and competing priorities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a structured, methodical approach to systems administration
  • Ability to work with other teams and vendors to troubleshoot and triage issues
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies and MS features

Great Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Citrix, and remoting technologies
