As the Business Continuity Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of strategies so entities can resume normal operations following a crisis. You will assist in the development of crisis management plans, business continuity plans and disaster recovery plans. You will assist with and coordinates the development and maintenance of the business continuity program. You will assist in the identification of critical points of failure and documents the solutions and assist in the development of policies and procedures for business continuance and disaster recovery. You will test business continuity plans with various operational groups and will be involved in the evaluation and selection of vendors to ensure service level agreements meet business continuance and disaster recovery planning requirements. You will also coordinate the efforts to develop and document the annual Disaster Recovery Tests, Tabletop exercises, and participate in the tests. 

If This Describes You, Apply Today!  

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• More than a year of proven experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Experience with Resilience One or similar tools 
• Experience with emergency notification tools 
• Proven familiarity and practical experience with business continuity standards, best practices, and IT recovery best practices 
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
• Ability to continuously define problems, collect or interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Demonstrated experience working independently
• Experience must include identifying and resolving problems, where decision making and initiative are demonstrated
• In-depth knowledge of insurance and financial industry systems 
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment  
  

Great Additional Skills: 

• Demonstrated experience with business continuity planning software and tools. 
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate and document complex customer interaction scenarios. 
• Frequently expresses or exchanges accurate information while following proper rules of punctuation, dictation and style 
• Proven ability to successfully and frequently interpret and communicate business needs among internal customers and external vendors in a clear, focused, and concise manner 
• Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing tasks accurately and on a timely basis 
• Demonstrated experience interacting with various levels throughout the corporate structure. 
• Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) or Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or equivalent designation
