As the Platform Engineer III, you will be responsible for ensuring the platform maintains an uptime of 99.99%, overseeing the operation of over 10,000 pipelines across diverse regions and cloud environments. You will be responsible for Incident Management by minimizing any adverse impact on our valued customers. You will develop scalable tools and services that can proactively detect and resolve production issues, along with creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SysOps teams. You will be building and maintaining crucial event lifecycle management processes using observability tools such as Datadog, NewRelic, Appdynamics, etc. You will be driving the cloud maturity of products and ensuring compliance with a well-architected framework including optimizing costs, enhancing performance efficiency, and implementing security guardrails. You will be ensuring business continuity by minimizing the impact of failures and enabling rapid recovery procedures. You will be researching, designing, and implementing solutions for fault tolerance, performance optimization, capacity management, and configuration management in various cloud operations. You will also be providing mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

If This Describes You, Apply Today! 

• At least 5-8 years of experience in building scalable, highly critical distributed systems
  
• B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• Excellent programming skills in Python / Go or Ruby or any other popular language
  
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  
• Experience in working on highly interdependent and complex multi-service architecture
  
• Strong in Networking (triaging, packet loss, routing, protocols, TCP/IP stack), OS and Docker / Containerization
  
• Knowledge of Distributed Systems fundamental principles (architectures, micro-services, high-availability, elections)
  
• Thorough understanding of cloud service delivery infrastructure ecosystem, operational processes, and orchestration models 
  Excellent skills in investigating and troubleshooting complicated systems/platforms and identifying key points of failure
  
• Experience in configuration/infra provisioning management systems: Ansible, Terraform
