As the Consumer Engagement Manager, you will create and execute experience-based differentiation to help increase awareness, improve customer retention, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. You will build high-value brand equity and industry authority with consumers through brand voice, enabling authentic interactions across multiple channels, converting consumers, and driving organic traffic. You will also own the end-to-end planning and execution of consumer engagement plans across all channels. Additionally, you will:

  • Be responsible for bringing consumers to the website through social media and other content channels and leveraging eCRM for engagement, activation, and retention
  • Analyze campaign performance data to drive continuous improvement and hypothesis-led testing of new concepts

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • 5 to 7 years of email marketing/consumer engagement experience, with a track record of success across content channels
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, marketing communications, PR, digital marketing, or similar related disciplines
  • B2C/ DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) email marketing and consumer engagement (social, blogging, content marketing) experience in a startup or fast-cycle innovation business
  • Marketing automation system management experience and strategic implementation and operational execution in Salesforce Pardot, HubSpot, Bronto, Silverpop/IBM, or another similar platform
  • Experience with content calendar creation, curation, and execution
  • Deep experience leveraging analytics platforms (platform-specific analytics tools and Google Analytics certification) for campaign performance reporting and optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data to drive continuous improvement and hypothesis-led testing of new concepts
  • Experience in an Agile testing and development environment
  • Analytical and creative, with a passion to develop and test new ways to profitably engage consumers
  • Experienced in end-to-end strategy and planning and implementation of a scalable consumer experience
  • Expertise in developing and carrying out a robust content calendar for eCRM, organic social media, landing pages, and blogs
  • Experience with eCRM automated flows, personalization, campaigns, and promotions
  • An Agile, test/learn/iterate mindset
  • Strong passion for marketing with the curiosity needed to stay ahead of new trends and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and operate within a large, complex organization
  • Ability to operate with discipline while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment
