As the IT Support Specialist, you will work within Resolvit’s IT Team to support our infrastructure and information systems. You will primarily administer endpoint (user) systems while being exposed to networks, and servers, hardware and software, on-prem and cloud computing platforms, from day one. You will also set up new users and computers while also maintaining existing ones. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support over the phone using remote access tools
  • Perform basic systems administration tasks like software updates, backups, and reports
  • Travel about once a month (for 2 to 3 days at a time) to our remote offices

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 1 year of experience with progressive IT support, preferably with a company with 500 users or less
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Windows 10 administration (setup, administration and support)
  • At least 1 year of experience with Office 365 technologies including email, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, and SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related program
  • Solid knowledge of network concepts and protocols including ethernet, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Knowledge of MACs, Linux, iPhone, and Android troubleshooting
  • Exposure to Windows Servers support and related components including Hyper-V, Active Directory, File Server, PowerShell Scripting, Group Policy, and DFS
  • Knowledge of server applications (Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Superb customer service skills with an emphasis on phone support and a sincere desire to help others
  • A problem-solver by nature with a natural inclination to learn and come up with the best solution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with users and team members

Great Additional Skills:

  • Desktop Central, Service Desk, PRTG, and Veeam experience
  • CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ certification
  • Fluency in Spanish
