As the Sales Engineer, you will drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for customer projects/accounts. You will work with customers to plan, design, configure, and/or diagnose our suite of products, services, and solutions to accelerate customer outcomes. You will also assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance. Additionally, you will:

  • Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design
  • Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues
  • Create and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Align technical deliverables to customer business outcomes
  • Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services
  • Comply with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to effectively execute the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals
  • Drive problem resolution for issues experienced in customer environments
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to products, services, or solutions
  • Provide answers for products, services, or solutions questions
  • Create or update and deliver problem resolution, project collateral, and/or knowledge transfer
  • Assist in documenting and resolving technical problems found in products and solutions
  • Engage and drive appropriate resources for escalations
  • Maintain accurate documentation in incident and knowledge management systems
  • Ensure case management guidelines are followed
  • Effectively communicate (verbally and written) with the customer and stakeholders on status and progress of service requests

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Ability to explain IP Routing and Subnetting
  • Linux CLI experience
  • Knowledge of TCP/UDP
  • Experience analyzing PCAPs
  • Working knowledge of Application Layer Protocols (Diameter, HTTP, DNS, FTP)
  • LTE Network experience
  • Any experience driving technology design, implementation, or execution
  • Experience working with customers to diagnose issues
  • Experience assisting customers, providing answers, and supporting presale activities
