As the Spotfire Architect, you will drive the architecture for an enterprise data visualization tool; empower both business users and data visualization engineers to create their own data and analytics projects; and create a comprehensive and performant ecosystem to drive the invention of new analytics and data reports. You will consistently strive to reduce technical hurdles, simplify access to data, automate data processes, and act as a subject matter expert who coaches and consults business partners and other technologists. You will also be the organizational expert and set the strategic technical direction for the technology.

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• Experience with Windows OS administration
• Experience with Spotfire administration
• Experience with infrastructure management
• Experience with information/data architecture
• Knowledge of AWS
• Knowledge of Redshift/Postgres databases
• Knowledge of data lake concepts
• Experience automating manual processes
• Experience with data visualization
• Experience with IT process automation
• Proven ability to teach technical concepts to those without a technical background
• Approachability and willingness to answer questions from users with a wide variety of backgrounds

Great Additional Skills:

• Experience managing data applications
• Knowledge of R
• Knowledge of Python
• Demonstrated experience in the role's technical competencies
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others from many different backgrounds and skill levels
• An interest in growing as a data professional and to learn the desired characteristics if not already present
