As the Technical Project Manager, you will lead the Help Desk support team by setting the standard for providing support, communication, and records for repairs. You will lead the Help Desk support team in the daily execution of tasks necessary to meet IT quality and scheduled goals of the company. You will also organize and lead the Help Desk support team as together they isolate, resolve, and follow-up with end-users to resolve technical problems. Additionally, you will:

  • Plan and organize schedules of the Help Desk support team
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and team quality
  • Use analytical skills to look at trends and figure out the root cause of issues with both hardware and software
  • Delegate tasks to the Help Desk support team, including organization of the project schedule
  • Lead the charge to document all procedures used to fix or correct problems
  • Organize and lead special projects, hardware and software installations, backup and recovery procedures, and wiring and network fundamentals
  • Ensure the tracking and managing of IT equipment and stock inventory
  • Continue to develop the Help Desk support team as a whole as well as each of the individuals

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a computer related field; 1 to 2 years of leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to present in a competent, efficient manner in dealing with the various levels of company personnel
  • Competitive spirit and willingness to learn
