We are looking for a new IT Director for our internal staff

Responsibilities:

•  Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the company's IT infrastructure and applications

• Manage the regional or functional IT budget and ensure that IT resources are used efficiently and effectively

• Lead a team of IT professionals and provide them with the training and resources they need to be successful

• Ensure that the company's IT systems are secure and reliable

• Deliver best in class end-user support to employees and consultants in the region

• Monitor the latest IT trends and technologies and recommend new ways to improve the company's IT systems and processes

• Work with other departments to ensure that the company's IT systems meet their needs

• Act as a subject matter expert over one or more technology areas in use in the company

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT management
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and applications
• Experience with IT budgeting and resource management
• Experience leading and managing a team of IT professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Intune
• Experience with IT security and compliance
• Experience with one or more networking technologies including NGFW, wireless and Zero Trust

 

Practical experience in:

Infrastructure Management

• Overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security systems
• Ensuring that the company's IT infrastructure is scalable and reliable to meet the needs of the business
• Managing the life cycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, and retirement
• Working with vendors to ensure that the company is getting the best possible deals on IT products and services
• Staying up-to-date on the latest IT infrastructure trends and technologies and recommending new ways to improve the company's IT infrastructure

Applications Management

• Working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the company's IT applications meet those needs
• Ensuring that the company's IT applications meet the needs of the business and its users
• Staying up-to-date on the latest IT applications trends and technologies and recommending new ways to improve the company's IT applications
