As the UI/UX Architect, you will be a key individual contributor who will lead the architecture and design of our modern mobile responsive user interface. You will work closely with Product Management, UX Designers, and business leaders to ensure the user interface reflects an ideal and favorable experience for all end users. You will also design, develop, maintain, and support highly complex user interface components, libraries, and design systems using the latest technologies and tools, including Angular 10, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and associated technologies. Additionally, you will:

  • Build user experience documents (Information Architecture (IA), user flows, wireframes, and sitemaps), high fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes (Zeplin, Figma, XD, Axure) to express vision
  • Research and conduct informal testing to validate design directions and inform new thinking for key features
  • Demonstrate high level of skill with CSS styling and responsive design with a good eye for detail
  • Bridge the gap between UX design and technical implementation
  • Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders within design, product, and engineering teams to build concepts that adhere to standards and can be delivered within project timelines
  • Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary
  • Review technical and non-technical project documentation and prepare high level implementation estimates for UI components, libraries, and design systems
  • Find solutions to complex and difficult problems
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic Agile processes
  • Participate in User Story Grooming and Sizing, Code Reviews, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX Architect
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, XML, JavaScript, accessibility, content management systems, and server-side technologies
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, Typescript, and/or ReactJS
  • Expert knowledge of Axure, Figma, or similar UX/design tools for building wireframes/prototypes
  • Understanding of how to drive and implement strategic technology solutions in support of critical business functions
  • Organizationally savvy, with a good understanding of the enterprise and how to navigate, influence, and persuade
  • Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
  • Ability to support multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously and work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Excellent attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
