As the Senior Security Analyst, you will provide the full spectrum of facility security support to the organization. You will ensure government security requirements are met; coordinate and work with internal and external organizations; generate solutions for new and developing security programs; employ risk management practices in supporting security goals and objectives; and coordinate the actions of other staff members. You will also perform all duties required to obtain and maintain all accreditations of organization facility spaces. Additionally, you will:

  • Interpret government security regulations
  • Establish control procedures for all levels of sensitive information to ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Perform all duties required for completion and submission of reports to government agencies
  • Perform functions required to obtain security clearances
  • Perform all functions related to the briefing and debriefing of staff
  • Ensure that staff, consultants, and subcontractors are aware of conditions and requirements for maintaining security clearances
  • Conduct security briefings and presentations
  • Liaison with government agencies regarding security clearances and classified visits
  • Designate the proper controls for handling classified documents and/or hardware belonging to government agencies
  • Advise and assist staff with Communication Security requirements; may serve as a COMSEC custodian and maintain COMSEC records
  • Advise and assist staff with Information Systems Security requirements
  • Review classification specifications as needed for contracts and subcontracts
  • Coordinate the actions of the security staff

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 10 years of related experience working as a Facility Security Officer in a USG setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Highly motivated, professional, and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize and manage large amounts of data, files, tasks, schedules, and information
  • Oral and written communications skills consistent with the ability to conduct interviews and security briefings and prepare communications setting forth analyses and recommendations in a concise, logical, and objective manner
  • Knowledgeable about how to navigate the Pentagon to get work done
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to analyze various types of materials to develop information regarding security vulnerabilities as it would apply to approval or denial of facility or information system access
  • Knowledge of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies
  • Knowledge of administrative regulations and sanctions that apply to violations or non-compliance with security regulations
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
  • US citizenship, a current Top Secret Clearance, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
