As the Sr Systems Developer II (IT127) Oracle PLSQL, you will provide systems analysis, design, development, testing, and support on highly complex technical information system components. You will work with business groups to analyze, define, and address requests on business requirements for applications and interfaces. You will also develop cost and resource estimates for projects. Additionally, you will:

• Design and develop components and services according to specifications within a team environment
• Prepare detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans, and user manuals
• Provide recommendations on database design
• Provide technical leadership for project team during implementation
• Perform unit and system test and as needed, including validation testing
• Coordinate with Operations staff on deployment of application and with IT Service Desk in providing ongoing application support
• Provide guidance to junior staff in executing systems development responsibilities
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways
• Receive little instruction on day-to-day work, with general instructions on new assignments
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for
  obtaining solutions
• Represent the department as a prime contact on projects
• Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional areas
• Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
• Frequently interact with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups.
• Work independently with little guidance or reliance on verbal or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals
• Perform a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• At least 6 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of .NET and Java, Web Services, ETL, and related technologies and protocols (SOAP, SOA, XML, MVC, LINQ, etc.), Web Development Languages, and Scripting Languages
• Expert knowledge of basic relational database platforms (Oracle) and languages (PL/SQL)
• Familiarity with the following systems and skills: Apache, IIS, Windows & Linux/Unix Server, Validated System Experience, Clinical Industry Knowledge, Project Management
• Excellent logic, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication
• Ability to perform under stress
• Ability to multi-task
