As the Senior Technical Product Manager, you will focus on owning and managing data integration platforms and guiding teams to accelerate outcomes at scale by collaborating with business teams to understand their needs and prioritize development based on the strategy. You will partner with functional counterparts to develop a long-term vision and strategy for execution. You will also develop a roadmap and work with other Product Owners to align roadmaps where necessary. Additionally, you will: 

  • Determine functional needs, document user stories, and partner on setting acceptance criteria
  • Manage the product backlog and assist business partners with prioritizing features based upon outcomes
  • Manage the development teams to develop and deliver business priorities
  • Understand data integration technologies (Talend, AppWorx)
  • Collaborate with the Corporate platform team (Informatica, Webmethods, Akana) to set expectations, strategy, and roadmaps as the focal by working with the business users to understand their needs
  • Understand data governance standards and security and compliance controls for making sure the product is compliant with CMMC or equivalent compliance requirements
  • Follow KPIs and take necessary steps to meet the same

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of professional experience in product ownership OR associates degree and at least 9 years of professional experience OR high school diploma and at least 11 years of professional experience
  • Ability to understand customer needs and requirements to translate into a technical solution
  • Familiarity with data integration strategies to help us move data both internally and externally
  • Ability to understand and adopt the concepts of re-use, avoidance of technical debt, open source, and scalability
  • Experience working in an Agile environment by defining a backlog and managing priorities
  • Initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts
  • Ability to analyze impact of technology choices
  • Knowledge of technical topics, such as data transfer, scalability, and security
  • Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team
  • Ability to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications
  • Understanding of Lean concepts and experience applying those concepts
  • Ability to effectively direct and mentor others in critical thinking skills
