A well-qualified candidate for the CEO position must have a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in the banking industry with at least five years in a senior management role. Prior CEO experience in an SEC bank is preferred. Ideally, this experience will include:
Well-rounded senior management experience with a successful track record of accomplishments and very strong financial and analytical skills within a community bank setting. Above average R.O.A. and/or R.O.E.; low delinquency ratios; solid regulatory ratings; and a positive growth pattern, etc. This individual must possess a good knowledge base from which to quickly learn the operations of the Bank.
An entrepreneurial spirit with the vision required to achieve the bank’s stated goals and objectives as well as the ability to handle an infinite array of day-to-day operational matters incidental to this customer driven organization within the Bank’s footprint.
An above average understanding of a variety of systems, risk management, credit administration, and procedures in order to effectively grow and develop “Best Practices” for the bank. Additionally, this candidate will be a visionary, able to structure and promote growth in all areas of the Bank.
