Part-Time Housekeeper – Malibu (Kanan Dume)
Schedule: Monday / Wednesday / Friday
Compensation: $50 per hour
A private gentleman in the Kanan Dume area of Malibu is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to maintain his 3,300 sq. ft. residence. This is a long-term opportunity for a polished professional who takes pride in maintaining an impeccably run home while working respectfully and discreetly around the principal.
The home features three bedrooms (only one regularly used) and is maintained to high standards. The ideal candidate has a light footprint, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate needs while remaining unobtrusive.
Responsibilities:
Full-charge housekeeping of a 3,300 sq. ft. residence
Detailed cleaning and upkeep of all living spaces
Laundry and linen care (washing, pressing, organizing closets)
Vacuuming, dusting, and high-touch surface sanitizing
Kitchen management including organization, light inventory monitoring, and maintaining order
Grocery shopping and household supply replenishment
Letting in and overseeing vendors as needed
Reporting maintenance concerns or household issues promptly
Qualifications:
Prior experience in private homes with verifiable references
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Reliable transportation
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Professional, discreet, and able to work comfortably around the principal
Self-directed with the ability to take ownership of the home’s care
