The family is in LA full-time during the summer (June–September) and visits sporadically from October–May. This role is ideal for someone highly self-directed who takes initiative and enjoys maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-run home even when the principals are away.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear refrigerator and refresh kitchen post-travel
  • Take down trash, recycling, and excess packaging/boxes
  • Manage donations and drop-offs when needed

Household Management:

  • Grocery shopping and home restocking prior to family arrivals
  • Meal prep support (wash/chop produce, light juicing)
  • Coordinate with pool service, landscapers, pest/rodent control, and other vendors

Project Management & Property Oversight:

  • Manage seasonal rotation of outdoor furniture and items (in collaboration with land manager)
  • Support the planning and execution of large-scale clean-outs or home resets
  • Coordinate storage moves, returns/exchanges, and home donations
  • Provide on-site support during construction appointments and deliveries
  • Oversee site visits, vendor appointments, and construction progress on second residence currently under renovation

Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Highly autonomous and self-directed with excellent time management skills

  • A natural problem-solver who takes pride in creating well-kept and organized spaces
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and communicating with a wider household team
  • Interested in or knowledgeable about homestead living, agriculture, and sustainable practices (a plus!)
