Lead Housekeeper in Beverly Hills (Tue-Sat)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Housekeeper to join a dedicated team at a high-end private residence in Beverly Hills. The schedule is Tue-Sat 8:30am-5pm. You will be responsible for maintaining the home to white-glove standards and providing leadership to the housekeeping team. Reporting to the Majordomo, the ideal candidate is an adaptable, team-oriented professional with exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, including strong laundress skills and a demonstrated flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall Upkeep: Maintain the estate with “white glove” standards, cleaning all areas of the home, including floors, rugs, windows, kitchen, bed linens, and furniture.
- Laundry Care: Manage clothing, fine linens and delicate fabrics including washing, folding, ironing, pressing and proper storage.
- Organization: Ensure closets and cupboards are kept neat and organized.
- Staff Training: Supervise, train and mentor staff in proper cleaning techniques and care of luxury furnishings, tailoring daily cleaning schedules to the specific needs of the residence.
- Inventory: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Majordomo, Chefs, Assistants and Housekeeping teams, following established protocols, systems, and task schedules.
- Event Assistance: Assist with preparation and service for events hosted at the residence, as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Professionalism & Demeanor: A professional, respectful, and positive demeanor. Required to maintain a neat, conservative appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
- Soft Skills: Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and willingness to learn. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Teamwork: Comfortable working in a team-based, formal household where mutual respect and shared responsibilities are expected.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the Principals’ dynamic needs.
- Legal & Screening: Must pass a comprehensive background check, possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a spotless driving record, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr DOE. Overtime may be available.
