Position Title: Houseman
Location: Malibu, CA (Broad Beach)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Compensation: $45-$50/hour + 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, and additional benefits
Household: Family of 4 + 1 friendly dog
Property: 10,000 sq. ft. private residence

Overview:

A HNW family in Malibu is seeking a professional, experienced Houseman to oversee the daily upkeep and smooth functioning of their 10,000 sq. ft. home. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, meticulous, and organized, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach. This is a hands-on role working closely with two housekeepers and additional household staff and coordinating with outside vendors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily maintenance and cleaning of the exterior of the residence and property including window cleaning and cleaning the outdoor furniture
• Light handyman duties
• Assist Housekeepers as needed
• Work with vendors/contractors
• Seasonal and rotational cleaning projects
• Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs proactively

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or UHNW household
• Eye for detail, high standards, and a strong sense of discretion
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable around dogs and able to provide basic pet assistance
• Experience working with luxury homes, surfaces, and finishes
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and vendor management abilities
• Fluent in English; additional language skills a plus
• Must have reliable transportation and verifiable references
• Positive Attitude and High Energy
