A very private couple in Los Angeles are seeking a professional and experienced Personal Assistant/House Manager who has a positive and friendly demeanor to join their team. The perfect candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills along with experience in construction and has a passion for caring for art and antiques. This position requires a very trustworthy and hard-working self-starter who consistently uses discretion and diplomacy to maintain confidentiality while always acting as a trusted advisor and advocate on behalf of the principals. Being highly organized and observant, having impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to be relied upon to make sound decisions in the absence of detailed instruction will be key to the long-term success of the employee.
Only candidates with 5+ years of experience working a similar role within an UHNW private estate will be considered. The employee will report directly to the Chief of Staff/Director of Residences and have daily communication and interaction with the principals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a residence in Los Angeles and small-scale oversight of a property in New York, maintaining standards resembling those of a 5-star hotel and superyacht.
- Continuously promote and maintain high standards of service and a positive work environment, ensuring a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
- Assist principals with any personal requests such as grocery shopping, shipping and returns, errands, household purchases, calendar management, gifting, correspondence, etc.
- Conduct regular organization and light tidying.
- Heavy management of inventory and supplies.
- Facilitate all aspects of selling contents on several online platforms.
- Regular walk-throughs of the entire property, searching for anything in need of repair and ensuring everything is operating properly.
- Implement and oversee preemptive and routine scheduled maintenance of the home and all systems.
- Oversee vendors when onsite for repairs, construction, and design projects.
- Routinely create and update household manuals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of home automation systems such as Crestron and Lutron, and promptly troubleshoot issues that arise.
- Always prioritize principal and property security, and be able to quickly learn and adapt to numerous high-tech security systems.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of cars, both new and vintage. Maintain full fuel and charging levels.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience working in a similar role within an UHNW estate.
- Able to stand, walk, climb stairs for extended periods of time.
- Have excellent and verifiable references from current and past employers.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable car.

Schedule
Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm, with 24/7 mentality and flexibility to start earlier, stay later, work evenings and weekends, and travel on occasion.
