We are partnering with our client to find an experienced DevOps Engineer who will work closely with the development teams to improve delivery velocity, integrating secure design and scalability. This role will drive implementation of new technologies with a high level of impact for internal teams and our customers. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability of infrastructure systems while driving ongoing improvements to reduce maintenance overhead and minimize technical debt. 

Role Objectives:

  • Integrate secure practices into systems and product development.
  • Work with software developers to improve development and release processes.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure to support the entire product lifecycle.
  • Create documentation and training for internal team

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy updates and fixes to the SaaS product.
  • Provide technical support for escalated issues.
  • Respond to alerts, investigate and resolve underlying issues.
  • Develop automation to improve systems management.
  • Identify monitoring gaps and implement improvements.
  • Design internal platform improvements, plan and implement changes.
  • Update wiki/readme documentation as gaps are identified or systems change.
  • Identify friction in the development process, establish technical and procedural improvements. 


  • Able to prioritize & execute on competing tasks to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience building & supporting highly available applications.
  • Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, VPC, EKS, Lambda).
  • Experience administering Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience managing applications in Kubernetes using tools like Helm & ArgoCD.
  • Experience managing CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with Linux administration, including configuration management tools like SaltStack, Puppet.
  • Strong scripting and/or development skills with languages like Python, GoLang, BASH.
  • Proficient with Docker/OCI container image management.


  • GitHub (git, GitHub Actions/Workflows, GitHub Packages, GitHub Apps).
  • Kubernetes (Helm, ArgoCD, kustomize, kops).
  • Docker (Docker-Compose, multi-stage dockerfiles, custom images, volume management).
  • Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL/Centos, Amazon Linux).
  • Configuration Management (SaltStack).
  • Cloud Hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean).


  • Deep understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of best-practices for implementing infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to see entire organization’s IT infrastructure needs when proposing enhancements and improvements.
  • Experience with automating and scripting changes with any popular programming language e.g. Python, Go, etc.
