The Senior Technical Artist is responsible for blending all of the art elements from the development and creative teams into a highly-polished product. You have a deep understanding of character and creature anatomy as it applies to motion and deformation and stay up to date with trends, software, and technology related to the technical setup of ‘Best in Class’ character assets. You are experienced with integrating assets directly into game projects and rigging a variety of simple and complex assets intended for motion. You have an expert-level understanding of joint creation, skin weighting, binding, and deformation systems. You have the ability to efficiently describe and translate improvement requests for new tools, pipelines, and processes and maintain a high level of quality while working with multiple teams that have timelines and dependencies. You are passionate about creating and developing best in class workflows and processes as well as strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

6+ Years of experience
4+ years’ experience in setting up advanced deformation systems (facial rigs, muscles, hair, and cloth).
5+ Working with the Unity Game Engine.
3+ Years working with AR/VR technologies.
3+ Years animation, modeling and texturing experience.
Experience working directly with internal developers, international contract developers and maintaining team
focus on edge cases and polish.
Portfolio of medium-large game/app credits showing a high level of polish.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience working with 3ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Motion builder, Marmoset Toolbag, Adobe Dimension, Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer & GameSparks.
Experience with C#
Passion for fitness and resistance training.
Willingness to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
