What We Need

We need someone that first and foremost, likes what she/he read above. J As a Recruiting Strategist with RNG, you’ll work closely with our small (but mighty) team to serve our current (and future) client needs. You’ll partner with our current team to help fill urgent open positions and have the freedom to build your own pipeline of opportunities (and be incentivized to do so).

This role will be highly autonomous and as a “ground level employee”, you’ll also have the opportunity to create and evolve your role as you grow, and as the company grows. This is pivotal moment for our team and we need someone passionate, self-motivated, and hungry. This is not the cush, sit-on-facebook, wait-for-someone-to-tell-you-what-to-do kind of job. This is a take-it-and-run-with-it, do-awesome-$h$t, kind of career.

The Gig:

Our Recruiting Strategist will work closely with our current team of Recruiters and the Candidate Liaison to facilitate effective and efficient recruiting processes for our clients.

Our approach is NOT like any other firms. We believe in building relationships as a means to recruiting and our process is specifically catered to each one of our customers’ needs. Further, we individualize everything from messages to meetings with our candidates and are proud of the robust and talented network of talent we’ve built. This will be a “full-desk” recruiting role where you’ll have the opportunity to build upon our current success, helping to fill open positions with current clients, and also build your own book of business through new client acquisition.

Ours is a very team-oriented, dynamic environment. Your day-to-day may include everything from email communication, to setting up meetings, hosting meetings, attending networking events, cold calling potential clients, reaching out to potential new candidates via LinkedIn, and doing research on job openings in Boise. If any of that isn’t up your alley, no worries! But, this isn’t the job for you.

About You

Must Haves:

-A passion for people. And not just in a cliché sense. We mean you really need to be an extrovert—someone that gets great joy from interacting with all kinds of people.

-Superb writing abilities and excellent verbal communication skills.

-Self-motivated, driven, and creative. We’re a small team and micro-managing is a non-option. The ideal candidate is someone willing and able to dive in, ask questions, and learn as she goes (rather than wait to be told what to do and how to do it).

-A willingness to help wherever, however. Did we mention we’re a startup?

-Strong technical acumen. You don’t need to know how to code or debug a computer (though, that’d be cool if you did!), but a majority of the roles we work on are in the high-tech industry, so you should be able to quickly pick up technical concepts and have an interest in doing so.

-An interest in recruiting, HR, and/or small businesses and startups. You’re naturally curious and always like to be learning. You pick up new things quickly.

-3+ years of experience in Recruiting or Sales.

-Bachelor’s degree in a related field (ok, anything can relate) and the ability to provide writing samples.

-Strong attention to detail.

-Integrity. A positive attitude, team-mentality, and tenacity.

 

Nice to Haves:

-An already established network of technical and non-technical connections, in the Boise area.

-Experience in technical recruiting, HR, or a startup environment.

 We’re fans of transparency so before you apply we want to make sure you’re armed with any and all relevant information. We’ve been doing this long enough to know, details matter, and we’d like to save all our time if it’s simply not going to be the right fit from the get-go. We’re a startup and while we’re making strides, we’re still a small company (and, we’re bootstrapped at that!). So, while benefits on our horizon, they’re not something we offer just yet. Our salaries are not going to compete with larger agencies/companies. We don’t have rigid “policies and procedures”. But, here are some of things we do have:
