Christ Church KOP is the result of two vibrant churches coming together with a shared vision for God’s kingdom. In 2022, Harvest Bible Chapel and Calvary Fellowship united, recognizing that we could do more for Christ together than apart. Rooted in a common commitment to biblical teaching, discipleship, and outreach, we embraced this journey of becoming one church family—stronger, healthier, and more equipped to impact our community.

Today, we stand as a growing, gospel-centered church of around 150 with a deep passion for worship, community, and mission. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a significant season for Christ Church as they aggressively strive to reach the surrounding community for Christ! The Worship & Student Ministry Pastor provides leadership for both Student Ministry (6th–12th grade) and Worship Ministry, fostering a Christ-centered environment for discipleship and worship. This role equips volunteers, engages students, leads worship gatherings, and integrates youth into the broader church community. In addition, this role will champion Christ Church’s social media outreach. This role is a part of the strategic leadership of the church.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Worship Ministry Leadership

• Lead Sunday worship services, special events, and church-wide gatherings
• Recruit, train, and develop worship team members (musicians and vocalists).
• Oversee worship technology, including audio, visual, and live-stream components.
• Maintain PCO, Pro-Presenter, and media resources for worship services.
• Oversee and equip teams to manage social media presence.

Student Ministry Leadership

• Lead weekly youth gatherings with fellowship, teaching, and small groups.
• Prepare and deliver biblical messages for middle and high school students.
• Plan and execute events, retreats, and outreach opportunities.
• Develop a discipleship strategy to connect students with the church.
• Partner with parents in their role as spiritual leaders. Social Media Leadership
• Create and post content aligned with the church’s mission.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to engage the community.
• Promote church events, services, and activities through social media channels.
• Collaborate with staff to align content with sermons and announcements.

Social Media Leadership

Staff & Volunteer Development

• Recruit, train, and equip volunteer leaders for both ministries.

• Manage budgets, logistics, and resources for Student and Worship Ministries.
• Participate in staff meetings, planning, and church leadership initiatives.
