Our church’s mission is clear; we are a gathering of believers called to 1) Reach our City 2) Restore the Broken and 3) Release people with Purpose. Port City Church passionately introduces people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus, provides next steps to further develop that relationship, and then walks alongside people on their journey to grow.

This happens in Encounter YTH too. The Student Pastor serves in a pivotal role of building upon an already growing, dynamic ministry for middle school and high school students. We believe that just one encounter with Jesus can change everyone and everything!

This also includes camps, retreats, mission trips, or other activities that the Student Pastor determines will serve students well. Develop partnerships and maintain positive presence in the community, schools, and on church’s social media.

Empower Students
In addition to ensuring relevant Bible teaching, build meaningful community through small groups. Identify and pursue opportunities to deploy students to reach friends. Provide counsel and spiritual guidance to students as appropriate, with wisdom to involve others as needed.
