We are recruiting an Industrial Sales Representative specializing in capital equipment; you will drive sales and build long-term relationships with industrial clients. Your role involves identifying business opportunities, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions. You will be a key contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service while achieving sales targets. Our client is a leader in surface finishing, mass finishing, shot blasting, vibratory finishing, shot peening, and the blast market.
Key Performance Objectives:

- Revenue generation target: $2 million
- 20 or more customer visits per month
- Learning about and becoming knowledgeable in the company's products and services.
Other Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business leads in the industrial sector, focusing on capital equipment sales.
- Use a "hunter" mentality to acquire new clients while nurturing relationships with existing ones.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential clients, converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Understand client needs related to capital equipment and provide tailored solutions.
- Offer expert recommendations and prepare customized quotes, proposals, and presentations to showcase product value and ROI.
- Stay updated on trends, technologies, and competitor offerings in capital equipment.
- Provided product knowledge during customer meetings and supported clients on installation and maintenance.
- Meet and exceed sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Track sales performance, update the CRM system, and report pipeline status and market trends.
- Address customer inquiries and provide exceptional post-sales support for retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams for efficient order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales, especially with capital equipment, in roles like Sales Engineer, Product Manager, or Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of capital equipment and manufacturing processes in pharmaceuticals, food processing, oil and gas, and custom machinery.
- Self-starter, motivated, and focused on achieving sales goals.
- Proactive in seeking new business opportunities and building client relationships.
- Comfortable using CRM software and digital tools to manage leads and track sales.
- Strong communication skills for building relationships with clients and coworkers.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills for complex sales cycles.
- Technical knowledge of capital equipment specifications and service needs.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and market changes.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client meetings and industry events.
