Job Title: Senior Superintendent - Mission Critical
Join our client's dynamic team as a Senior Superintendent specializing in Mission Critical projects. Our client is a Top 20 national General Contractor known for their innovation, ground-breaking projects, and commitment to their employees throughout the United States.
This role requires an experienced professional to oversee the execution of mission-critical construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and scheduling standards in Ashburn, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for mission-critical projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project goals are met.
- Oversee subcontractors and labor to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Mentor and guide junior staff and subcontractors to foster professional development.
- Manage project documentation, including daily reports and compliance records.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on mission-critical projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- MUST have experience managing high-value work in a mission-critical, healthcare, and/or life sciences field with knowledge of highly complex MEP scopes of work.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
