We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of ground-up commercial construction experience, with a strong background in K-12 education, municipal, or higher education projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for field operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site construction activities from pre-construction through closeout

  • Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and coordinate daily site activities

  • Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and safety standards

  • Enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures, fostering a zero-incident culture

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to review construction documents, RFI responses, and submittals

  • Participate in scope review and buyout processes, assisting with identifying gaps or overlaps in subcontractor scopes

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications

  • Communicate proactively with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project momentum

  • Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage jobsite documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and coordination plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects

  • Experience in K-12 schools, higher education, or public sector facilities strongly preferred

  • In-depth understanding of construction scheduling, safety protocols, building codes, and project sequencing

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, drawings, and specifications

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate with clients and design professionals

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, and teamwork

  • Must be willing and able to travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area
