Position: Accounting Consultant (AP focus)
Location: Downtown DC, near McPherson and Farragut North metro stations (hybrid/remote)
Work type: Contract, 30-40 hour/week, 1 - 3 months

We are seeking an Accounting Consultant to join a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization located in downtown, Washington, DC. The Consultant will work with a close-knit team on a special project focused on Accounts Payable using Anybill.

While covering a short-term medical leave of the current AP Associate, the Consultant will process all accounts payable (300 vendors used throughout the year), process expense reports using Concur, and document the accounts payable process, as the company currently does not have SOPs for AP. The Consultant must have hands-on accounts payable processing experience using Anybill, strong writing and documentation skills, and be able to discuss with senior management observations and work together to identify and implement solutions.

Requirements:

• Accounts payable experience required.
• Anybill experience required.
• Documentation and compliance experience required.
• Association or non-profit background preferred but not required
• Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
