Digital Marketing and Creative Associate/Coordinator

Position 

The Digital Marketing and Creative Coordinator will provide critical communications, marketing, and creative support to the Institute’s English-language programs across North America and in Israel. This position is an opportunity to work on diverse projects including SHI NA’s website, social media marketing and analytics, email communications, collateral design, and digital media. Success in the role requires strong attention to detail, top-notch digital skills, strong writing skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The communications team and this position are based in NYC. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support email communications to a variety of audiences, including drafting, formatting, and designing newsletters and other email campaigns as well as managing audience segmentation via the organization’s CRM. 

  • Update English language website; create new content and maintain existing pages 

  • Maintain video platform including basic video editing, uploading video content to Vimeo or Youtube, and organizing content. 

  • Support SHI North America’s digital and social media platforms. Create and curate content across social channels, maintaining a cohesive look and brand across all platforms. 

  • Support general administration for the Communications and Creative team, including but not limited to managing digital communications calendar, scheduling related to podcasts, project management, media tracking, and CRM maintenance. 


Qualifications 

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in digital marketing. 

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written; strong proofreading and editing abilities. 

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and producing digital content for social media; strong understanding of business social media platforms, Hootsuite, Google analytics, and SEO. 

  • Strong creative and branding sensibility, including ability to create marketing materials and work effectively with external graphic designers. Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.  

  • Working knowledge of WordPress website platforms, Prior experience with Mailchimp or comparable email marketing platform is required. Knowledge of Salesforce and HTML coding experience a plus. 

  • Podcast recording and audio/visual editing experience a plus. 

  • Familiarity with project management tool such as Monday.com a plus. 

  • Able to prioritize and to work independently and proactively, with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to produce highly professional work under tight deadlines and with shifting priorities. 

  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment. Track record of demonstrating sound judgment and knowing when to take initiative, when to elevate problems. 

  • Familiarity with Jewish tradition and the contemporary Jewish landscape a plus. 

  • Hebrew language competence a plus. 

  • Good sense of humor. 


Salary range and benefits: 

55k – 65k annual salary. Competitive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
