Moore Grider & Company, LLP, founded in 1956, is one of the largest local accounting firms in the Central Valley. The firm provides comprehensive services in all areas of accounting and presently serves clients locally and nationally. We are currently looking to hire an experienced, Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. Under the general supervision of one or more partners of the firm, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for interacting with clients on a regular basis.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Bookkeeping for multiple clients on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, including:
- Payroll processing and reporting.
- Bank and credit card reconciliation.
- Sales tax reporting.
- Tax deposit processing.
- Maintain the trial balances and make adjusting journal entries.
- Prepare supporting schedules for tax returns or financial statements.
- Other tax and financial reports as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
- Assisting with client inquiries and directing to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Associate degree is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing bookkeeping duties in an office environment.
- Experience in a Public Accounting Firm highly desirable but not required.
- Client service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the use of computers, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn other software.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Position offers a competitive hourly rate between $25-$34/hour depending on experience with a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, Sick Leave, and 401(k).
