San Joaquin Country Club is a premier private club with a tradition of excellence that features full club amenities including a pool, practice area, and driving range. The clubhouse offers fine dining, Member’s Grill, and has banquet space capable of hosting banquets, weddings, and other events. We are looking to fill several Busser / Food Runner positions to support the service team by maintaining a clean and organized dining area and ensuring timely delivery of food to members and guests. This position plays a vital role in providing seamless, attentive, and efficient service to enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist servers by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to members and guests promptly and accurately.
• Ensure proper presentation and handling of all food items.
• Refill water, bread, and other table amenities as needed throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work areas.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas for service or events.
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly after each course.
• Assist in polishing silverware, glassware, and maintaining table supplies.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide courteous and professional service in all member and guest interactions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Must be able to obtain required food handler certification.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.

Position offers a competitive salary between $17 - $20 per hour with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for club operations.
