First Care SLS Inc. is a Supportive Living Services Agency that provides direct care services to high risk developmentally disabled adults. Our team is currently accepting applications for our Field Supervisor role based in Fresno, CA. to provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and oversight of Direct Support Staff and individuals with intellectual disabilities and enhanced behavioral needs. This role ensures the delivery of safe, structured, and therapeutic care in alignment with the program’s treatment model, licensing regulations, and organizational values. The Field Supervisor serves as a key liaison between direct care staff, clinical teams, and administration while fostering a supportive and consistent environment for the individuals.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the team.
  • Address and de-escalate crisis situations in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure individuals schedules (therapy, activities, appointments) are followed and supported by staff.
  • Provide direct supervision, scheduling, and coaching of DSP/Staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, shift debriefs, and performance evaluations.
  • Train and mentor staff in behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and program expectations.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure coverage for all shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports, shift logs, and resident records.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff on program improvements, audits, and case reviews.
  • Monitor facility conditions, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff concerns, family inquiries, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion.
  • Communicate program updates and policy changes to staff promptly and effectively.
  • Advocate for individuals’ needs while supporting therapeutic boundaries and treatment goals.


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or another closely related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, or Supportive Living Services.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavioral management strategies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical competence with Microsoft Teams and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must meet all state/federal background check and training requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.


Position offers a competitive annual salary between $62,400 - $70,304 with a generous benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Sick Time, and 401(k) with Company match after 90-day introductory period.
