Located in Northeast Fresno, Spruce Multi Specialty Group is seeking an energetic and career-oriented Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician’s Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, statutes and ordinances, all applicable rules and regulations of the California State Board of Registered Nursing, and the ethical standards of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
• Provide qualified professional medical services to all patients.
• Be available and provide services pursuant to the schedule set by Dr. Michael W. Lynch.
• Assist the Physician or his representatives in performing management responsibilities such as the evaluation of equipment and supplies.
• Provide accurate, timely and appropriate patient care documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and the written policies and procedures of the Physician.
• Participate in educational programs, development, implementation, and monitoring and assessment efforts of the Physician to ensure accurate, timely and appropriate patient care documentation.
• Comply with all requirements imposed on the Physician by the Plans, including, without limitation, participating in utilization and quality management programs of the Physician and the Plans, listing Practitioner’s name in the Physicians and the Plan’s rosters, complying with the Physician and the Plan’s referral procedures and hospital administration requirements.
• Dictate notes at time of visit, including asking appropriate medical questions, while following established protocols and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Current Licensing by the California State Board of Registered Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is desired.
• 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant.
• Strong skills, knowledge, and current certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• Strong computer skills including Electronic Medical Records, and other Medical Software.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to multitask with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient time management skills with attention to detail desired.
• Compassionate and dedicated with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Previous experience and/or interest in cardiology, internal medicine, and gerontology a plus.

Position offers a competitive salary between $75 - $85 Depending on Experience

 

Initial on-boarding schedule of approximately 30 hours a week with intent to become full time.
