Job Summary:

The Vice President of the Information Technology Division will oversee recruiting and sales operations to ensure that there is growth and profitability within the business practice.



  • Formulate and implement the strategic plan that guides the direction of the team's business or its area of functional responsibility
  • Develops long-range goals and objectives to contribute to the sales and profitability requirements of the business unit
  • Monitors the business unit, achieves the overall success that was budgeted for, planned for, and aimed to accomplish
  • Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards.
  • Be aware of any opportunities the business unit can leverage and pursue for its advantage.
  • Oversees hiring progress and timeliness of projects.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and our client needs.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
    • Initiates sales forecasting activities and sales planning by executing sales strategies; contributing to the growth of the business unit.
    • Reviews market analyses to determine client needs, price schedules, and discount rates; directs the business unit accordingly.
    • Negotiates client contracts and work agreements
    • Prepares all required reports.

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      • Plans and coordinates the work with recruiting staff.
      • Oversees relationship manager staff and ensures that they meet sales/recruiting goals and objectives.
        • Directs staff, training, and performance evaluations to ensure that business unit meets or exceed its goals
        • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of staff; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
        • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
        • Provides training and mentoring as needed.
        • Recruits additional internal staff as needed.


          Required Skills/Abilities:

      • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
      • A minimum of seven years of related experience
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Proven track record of growth within a staffing/sales organization
      • Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
