We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our growing sales team and support our new Financial Services CIO Advisory Practice.

 


Responsibilities

  • Build a deep knowledge of financial services and a solid understanding of new service offering for Financial Services CIO’s
  • Establish new business relationships with non-client organizations
  • Own the sales process from lead generation through contract close
  • Investigate and understand the business objectives of potential clients in order to develop and demonstrate a solution tailored to their needs
  • Effectively present the value of our products and services to potential clients
  • Achieve the assigned quota by selling research and consulting services
  • Develop a realistic revenue forecast in coordination with the Head of Sales
  • Track activities and report on progress in Salesforce.com

 

The ideal candidate brings 8-10 years of client services and B2B business development experience, the ability to engage C-level and senior leadership within prospective client organizations, a track record of overachievement on goals or quotas, proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and strong project management and organizational skills. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be fluent in English. A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience working with CIO or CTO’s in the financial services industry, research, and a subscription-based sales model is a plus.
