While in this role, you will be the product owner with the full product life cycle responsibility. You will be responsible for the development of new products with features based on market & customer’s requirements to drive new business growth opportunities. You will also be responsible to provide a high level of product support to our customer base by working closing with the sales team as well as supporting internal cross functional teams. Our client offers an excellent comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, sick leave, competitive bonus and RRP & RRSP options

Immediate opening for a Product Manager in Burnaby, Canada who possesses:

  • 3-5 years of product management and project management experience in power systems, batteries and ideally lithium industry.
  • Strong technical background with power electronic solutions.
  • Experience in the power systems in the vehicle industry is preferred.
  • A team player with ability to effectively interact with customers and diverse stakeholders & cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability in writing business proposal & product requirement definition.
  • Excellent ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Results orientation and proven ability to deliver on commitments with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with offshoring ODM for product design & engineering & manufacturing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to travel within North America and internationally occasionally as needed.


  • Be the product owner & project leader to manage product projects end-to-end, driving the  projects from requirements to implementation to delivery to customers.  
  • Work with sales team & customers to capture and define voice of customer based, market winning product requirements. 
  • Be the advocate for the voice of customer to the internal teams.  
  • Working directly with internal technical stakeholders, sales, customers, and business partners to  elicit, analyze and prioritize new product requirements. 
  •  Perform detail competitive analysis & market research and market share assessment. 
  • Develop business case, project proposal, bringing new products to market including launch &  marketing plan.  
  • Responsible for total product life cycle from launch to grave.  
  • Work with engineering team & related functional teams to drive project through the development  process in a timely manner.  
  • Work with the marketing team to launch product for targeted customer applications.  
  • Provide product support to sales team, customer support team and internal cross functional  groups.  
  • Provide product support & customized adaptations as well as sustaining engineering activities  required to keep a high level of customer satisfaction.  
  • Be responsible for the business success of the product including revenue & profit margin.
