A family of four, including a couple and two children, is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeper for their 5,000 sq. ft. single-family home in Bal Harbour. This is a long-term position offering stability and a warm, family-oriented environment. The schedule is full-time, 5 ½ days per week, with flexibility on days off. The position can be live-in or live-out; for live-out candidates, the typical schedule is 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The household also employs a full-time live-in nanny. The ideal candidate will be discreet, dependable, and genuinely enjoy supporting a family in their home. This is an informal, welcoming household seeking someone who will fit in well for the long term.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning, detailing, and organizing the home to a high standard
• Laundry for the family, including washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and wardrobe management
• Full wardrobe care, including closet organization and packing/unpacking for travel
• Light cooking between chef visits ( reheating meals, light breakfast for the children)
• Maintaining household inventory of groceries and supplies
• Cleaning and maintaining terraces, patios immediate exterior living spaces
• Polishing silver, glassware, and specialty surfaces
• Changing linens, making beds, and keeping bedrooms and bathrooms well maintained
• Assisting with setup, service, and cleanup for family meals
• Pet care for the family’s Golden Retriever
• Providing general household support with a positive, can-do approach

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private home
• Proven long-term employment with excellent references
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Kind, caring, and positive attitude
• Self-starter who takes initiative and requires little direction
• Team player who can work collaboratively with the nanny
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Demonstrated longevity in previous positions

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $35 per hour (commensurate with experience)
