A wonderful UHNW family living in a high-end private oceanfront residence in Southern Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced and meticulous housekeeper with excellent laundry skills. She must be extremely detail-oriented and have extensive experience working in a high-end home.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The housekeeper will work in coordination and cooperation with the other staff to facilitate the highest level of service and household standards. They are seeking someone who is a self-starter who can anticipate, prioritize, stay organized, and go above and beyond in all aspects of the position.

The housekeeper/laundress will work in conjunction with the long-term Executive Housekeeper. They need someone who takes direction well and does not have an ego issue. Flexibility is key. A professional, drama-free attitude and respect for hierarchy are essential.

You will report directly to the Estate Manager for all job-related matters and to the Executive Housekeeper for duties needed according to the principals’ schedule. They are looking for someone hardworking, honest, and interested in a long-term position. The spirit of peace, discretion, and professionalism must always be maintained in the home.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 

• Tuesday to Friday 9:00 AM - 6 PM 
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

OFF Days - Sunday & Monday

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Full-charge housekeeping: maintaining the home to a five-star hotel standard
• Maintain a detailed cleaning routine, including rotating deep and general cleaning projects
• Laundry, ironing, and steaming of clothing and linens; caring for fine garments; handwashing; minor repairs and tailoring
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and following approved procedures for specialty floor and counter surfaces
• Cleaning grout, replacing expired products, cleaning chandeliers (using ladders), keeping the fridge and kitchen clean at all times, and ensuring nothing is expired
• Cleaning mirrors, showers, bathrooms, ceiling vents, and wood trim
• Experience with both formal and informal service; assisting when the client entertains
• Handling and caring for fine furnishings
• Dog walking and cleanup (very small dogs)
• Running errands if requested; flexibility to adjust routines as needed
• Ability to pivot and change direction when circumstances or requests arise

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of related work experience in a high-end formal private residence as a housekeeper/laundress
• Confidentiality and discretion required
• Works independently as well as part of a team
• Takes direction well with a humble and respectful attitude
• Willing to go the extra mile
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong understanding of priorities and timing
• Stellar references from previous employers
• Must speak clear, fluent English
• Always professional in demeanor and appearance
• Physically able to climb stairs multiple times per day in a large estate home and lift up to 20 lbs while doing so
• Uniforms provided
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• Comfortable with dogs, including walking and cleanup
• Non-smoker with a valid U.S. driver’s license and own transportation
• Resides within reasonable distance of Highland Beach
• Drug-free workplace

Compensation: $75,000 per year plus annual bonus, opportunity for growth, 3 paid sick days • 3 paid holidays • 10 paid vacation days
