Full-Time Housekeeper needed for Retired Couple Boca Raton, FL

A retired couple in Boca Raton are looking for a full-time housekeeper/household assistant. The home is a single family, five bedroom eight bathrooms (large residence) located in a gated community. The household consists of two people. The primary responsibilities include general housekeeping, some light cooking, averaging two to three times per week and occasional errands. This is a year-round position. The role requires lots of flexibility as the schedule is varied.

The schedule is Monday to Friday. On the days when the family dines in, which maybe about 2 to 3 times a week, the hours are 12pm to 7:30pm. On Tuesday and Thursdays, the position is 9am to 5pm.

The couple are older and prefer someone who is flexible. The ideal candidate is kind, caring and accommodating to their needs. The couple previous staff stayed long-term over ten years. They treat their staff well, are kind, respectful and pleasant to work for. Their children are grown and visit with the grandchildren yearly.

General Duties;

• Daily cleaning, organizing of the interior
• Laundry for the family – organize closets, fold, steam, press
• Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dusting, deep cleaning
• Light cooking – follow simple family style recipes (2 to 3 times per week)
• Keep inventory of supplies
• Ran errands for supplies and food shopping
• Put out trash
• Housekeeping projects
• Receive packages
• Provide support to the family and attend to daily request

Requirements:

• Minimum five years recent housekeeping experience
• Solid reference from previous families
• Flexible with schedule
  
• Cheerful outlook, helpful, nurturing and caregiver personality

Compensation: $1200 to $1300 per week, Taxes withheld, PTO, Holiday Pay
