Live-In Housekeeper needed for Vacation Residence in Shelburne, Vermont - ( open to out of state applicants)
We have a great opportunity for a Live-In Housekeeper for a second residence in Vermont. The household consists of two adults. The general responsibilities include daily cleaning, laundry, changing linens, preparing meals, organizing spaces, and managing supplies. The position is open to both local or out of state applicants. The home is a seasonal residence during June to September. The principal has other residences in the Bahamas and Canada and may require occasional travel to those residences to cover for the other housekeepers while on vacation.
Work Schedule:
- 5 days a week including weekends with 1 day off when the principal is present (from June to September) and 2 days off per week when he is not present.
- Hours: Start 11:30 AM with afternoon break, until after dinner (when owner is present).
Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning and maintenance
- Preparing meals
- Organizing personal spaces
- Managing all aspects of whole residence’s operation
- Managing household supplies
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years in housekeeping experience
- Good communication and work ethic
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English
- Honest, self-motivated, detail-oriented
- Driver's license (bonus)
- Valid passport – Maybe asked to travel on rare occasions.
Compensation: $75k, Two Weeks PTO, Cell Phone, another benefits TBD.
