A private household is seeking a temporary Dog Sitter/Housekeeper to provide coverage during the upcoming holiday period. This role is best suited for a true dog lover, as the home has four Biewer Terriers — three weighing about 6 lbs each and one toy Biewer who is 2 lbs.

The principal will be traveling intermittently between December 8th and December 27th. The candidate will never be alone with all four dogs at once; the principal will take the toy Biewer along when traveling, so care will only be required for three dogs at a time. The current housekeeper will be present for the first week, ensuring the new hire has support and time to integrate smoothly before taking over care duties.

The dogs are very sweet but take some time to warm up to new people. The right person will be patient, gentle, and affectionate, allowing the dogs to feel comfortable and secure.

Responsibilities include:
• Providing daily care for the dogs, including feeding, walks, and playtime
• Walking the dogs in pairs (two at a time) — not all at once
• Feeding schedule: 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily
• Overnight stays in the home when the principal is traveling (a spare bedroom is provided)
• Light housekeeping and tidying, as the full-time housekeeper will be away
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for the dogs and the home

Ideal Candidate:
• A genuine dog lover with previous pet care or small-breed experience
• Kind, patient, and nurturing personality
• Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable staying in a private home
• Flexible schedule during the holiday period
• Must be local to the area and previous experience working with private household

Schedule & Compensation:
Starting at $40 per hour (guaranteed 8 hours per day) and $100 flat per overnight stay
