1. 5+ years development experience with core infrastructure technologies including operating systems (Linux, Windows), Hadoop, relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

2. 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting data warehouse and business intelligence technologies

3. At least one-year experience working with a data integration (ETL) tool

4. Comfortable working in the Linux shell

5. Solid understanding of Java architectures

6. Experience with security systems and LDAP a plus

8. Java programming experience a plus



 -Good understanding of Hadoop HDFS and MapReduce framework internals

-Hands-on experience developing with Hadoop components such as MapReduce, Hive, Impala, Hbase, Pig, Flume a plus

-Experience with NoSQL database technologies like MongoDB a plus


- B.A. or B.S. Degree from an accredited university (may substitute an Associate degree plus 4 additional years of experience)

- Major or minor in computer science or MIS a plus
