Job Title: .Net/AWS Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer for a fully remote, contract position. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in .NET development and building cloud-native applications on AWS. As a contractor, you will work collaboratively with our client’s product, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions in the mortgage and financial services domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, enhance, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core (or newer) and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
  • Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and serverless components in AWS
  • Integrate applications with internal systems and third-party services (e.g., AUS, LOS)
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features in agile sprints
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containers, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code; conduct peer code reviews
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+)
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, CloudFormation)
  • Proficient in front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React preferred)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS or EKS)
  • Familiar with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, DynamoDB)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mortgage industry experience or familiarity with mortgage servicing and origination systems
  • Knowledge of MISMO standards and automated underwriting systems (DU, LPA)
  • Prior experience working with government clients or regulated environments
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture and serverless patterns

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
  • Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-Based)
  • Hours: 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours
  • Start Date: ASAP
