Job Title: Angular Front-End Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Engineer with a strong background in Angular to work with one of our clients as a full-time contractor. This fully remote position is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of experience in developing enterprise-grade user interfaces using Angular. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver intuitive, responsive, and performant front-end solutions in the mortgage and financial services domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex user interfaces using Angular (v10+)
• Implement responsive designs using HTML5, SCSS, and modern CSS frameworks
• Consume RESTful APIs and integrate UI with backend services and third-party systems
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and product owners in agile sprints
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (508/WCAG compliance)
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in sprint ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous UI/UX improvement

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience with Angular (v10+)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Git
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx)
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and front-end performance optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mortgage or financial applications
• Familiarity with component libraries and design systems (e.g., Angular Material)
• Accessibility-first development mindset (508/WCAG)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of web security best practices (e.g., XSS, CORS, CSRF)

 Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
• Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-Based)
• Hours: 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours
• Start Date: ASAP
