Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing/Data Cloud engineer to support the implementation and ongoing use of CDP/Marketing Cloud technology. The role collaborates closely with Marketing, Data Science, and other business units to play a pivotal role in advancing automation and personalization initiatives, developing key member insights, and enhancing current automation outcomes.
Responsibilities also include designing and implementing advanced marketing solutions using the Marketing Cloud platform. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless integration, automation, and optimization of marketing activities, ultimately driving improved member experiences and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of capturing customer data from various sources to aggregate and generate actionable insights using analytics tools or other methods.
- Assists in the management and design of the reporting environment, including overseeing data sources, ensuring security protocols, and maintaining metadata.
- Supports initiatives aimed at ensuring data integrity and standardization.
- Serves as the custodian of the Marketing Data Management, overseeing both the current state and the target state architecture.
- Independently leads the design and architecture of Marketing Cloud solutions, collaborating with cross-functional architecture and delivery teams to ensure alignment with business needs, marketing objectives, and technical requirements.
- Provides deep expertise in Marketing Cloud platforms to help optimize the use of marketing automation tools, customer journeys, and campaigns.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of the Marketing Cloud, working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver successful solutions.
- Defines objectives for technology components and frameworks, including reference architectures and their implementations.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to identify and document business requirements, ensuring that marketing data is accessible and consumable through Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
- Analyzes marketing program opportunities and outcomes to drive growth within targeted business unit market segments.
- Oversees project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Proactively manages the daily operations of project tracking, scheduling, and information sharing across a diverse range of high-volume projects.
- Implements best practices for the customer experience to enhance user engagement, drive increased responses, and improve overall satisfaction.
- Adheres to all security procedures and maintains strict confidentiality of all information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field
- 5 years experience in a technical marketing role building and scaling enterprise Data Management Technologies within the Marketing technology domain in a regulated industry like financial services, specifically in a Marketing Cloud Architect or similar position
- Experience with loading data in and out of CDP from Data Lake/S3/Snowflake
- Experience with data modeling, audience segmentation, advanced reporting and advanced knowledge of SQL
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud platforms such as Adobe Experience, Salesforce or Oracle CRM
- Working knowledge of Incorta Data Warehouse
- Marketing Cloud-related certifications (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.
- Strong sense for clean visual design and ability to create response-driven creative material.
- Must be a self-starter, able to self-manage and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide guidance in the resolution of complex problems utilizing advanced knowledge and experience within areas of responsibility.
- Promote and foster excellent member service and teamwork throughout department.
- Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.

- Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements.
