Title: Technical Sales Director

Job Description

Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial and business-savvy individual with a background in Software Sales, Industrial Applications or Manufacturing to join their team as a Technical Sales Director. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, and Product and Solution Delivery teams to convert new customer opportunities and ensure growth of existing customer accounts. This opportunity offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team at the forefront of computer vision technology. You will have the chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects, collaborate with industry experts, and make a significant impact in solving real-world challenges using computer vision techniques.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive end-to-end sales from prospecting to close
  • Build a compelling business case, define timelines, pursue approvals, negotiate legal contracts and finalize deals
  • Collaborate with Product and Solution Delivery teams to drive a smooth transition from sales to implementation and timely deployment of our software solution at the customer’s site
  • Maintain partner relationships and grow revenue in these partner channels
  • Collaborate with marketing team to find new leads in existing industry segments and markets
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team as we scale, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and success 

Required Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a Sales role in an early-stage startup, preferably selling software
  • Proven track record of success in Enterprise Sales/Procurement/Process Optimization within the Industrial & Manufacturing industry with a strong understanding of these industries' nuances and pain points
  • Needs to be hands-on and with an attitude to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Energetic, results-oriented, and hands-on approach to sales, with a drive for achieving and exceeding targets
  • Flexibility to travel for customer visits, trade shows and events
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving results through effective coaching and mentorship
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, capable of identifying opportunities and developing effective sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex technological solutions to diverse audiences
