Senior Tax Accountant

Wealth management firm based in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, FL is looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant. In this role, you will be assisting the Tax Manager with preparing partnership, trust and individual tax returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review intermediate to complex federal and state tax returns for various partnership, trust and individual entities
  • Identify and prepare book/tax adjustments and quarterly estimated tax calculations
  • Manage all aspects of quarterly and annual income tax accounting and prepare tax entries
  • Participate in the quarterly, year-end provision and budget tax provision process

Requirements:

  • CPA license or on track to become a CPA within the next 18 months
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3 - 5 years of tax experience working at a CPA firm
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • ProSystem fx software experience
