South Florida Recruiters has been retained by a well-established company in the Boca Raton, FL area, to identify a Controller. The company is a leader in their industry and has been around for over 50 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Perform month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations.
  • Compile, prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting reports.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process.
  • Manage, review and coordinate tax reporting and filings.
  • Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.
  • Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license is highly recommended
  • 10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience including 3+ years at the Controller level
  • Large ERP system experience
